# What is my current wheel size?

## Wheel diameter, width, and offset are best identified by checking the tire sidewall and the stamped specs on the backside of the wheel.

Measuring car wheel size involves three key dimensions: diameter, width, and offset.

If your wheel is installed, we recommend looking at your tire sidewall to find the wheel diameter. Your tire size will look something like 275/55R20. The R20 number means that your wheel is a 20” wheel.

Now if you want the exact measurements for all three dimensions of your current wheels, we recommend looking on the backside of the wheel itself. The backside of the spokes will have all of the information you need stamped directly onto it. You can locate a stamp similar to “20x9” to determine that your wheel has a 20” diameter and a 9” width. Finally, you’ll want to find another number on the back that will typically have a +, -, or ET next to it. That is the offset of your current wheel.

We don’t recommend measuring the wheel itself manually. This will require uninstalling the wheel and removing the tire from the wheel for width measurements. At that point, it is easier to read the backside of the spoke for the manufacturer specs of your wheel.
